'Invitation to Disaster'
WEDDING BELL BLUES - Eric and Annie find themselves with a problem when they realize Simon and Rose's (Sarah Thompson) wedding falls on the same day as Matt (who does not appear in the episode) and Sarah's (Sarah Danielle) med school graduation ceremony. Eric and Kevin (George Stults) try to get the couple to agree to either move the wedding date or elope, but Rose's ex-finacé, Umberto (guest star Fidel Gomez) conspires with Annie to talk Rose out of eloping. Finally, Rose realizes she has been difficult and tries to mend her relationship with the Camdens. Ruthie asks Eric if she can go to Scotland as an exchange student, but Eric knows her real motive is to be with Peter (Scotty Leavenworth). Beverley Mitchell, Nikolas Brino and Lorenzo Brino also star. The episode was directed by Keith Truesdell and written by Brenda Hampton

"Moving Ahead"
SECRETS BETWEEN SIMON AND SANDY ARE REVEALED - Lucy secretly goes to see a doctor to find out if she's pregnant. Rose (Sarah Thompson) is still angry that Simon neglected to tell her that he slept with Sandy. Simon confesses to Eric that he is afraid that Rose will also find out that he almost got a girl pregnant. When Eric tries to help them, Rose accuses him of trying to sabotage their wedding. Annie tries to help Ruthie get past Martin by allowing her to skip school and spending the day with her.

"The Magic of Gershwin"
Ruthie gets detention when she is late for class after crying about Martin in the bathroom. Unexpectedly, she finds detention is a blast when the teacher in charge (guest-star Michael Feinstein) introduces them to the music of George Gershwin. With the music program being cut at the high school, students begin purposely landing in detention so they can discuss music. Meanwhile, The Camdens rally to help a friend of Ruthie's, who is hiding a secret, and Rose pressures Simon to pick their wedding song. Finally, Ruthie is upset when Simon informs her that Martin is attempting to care for Sandy and the baby.

"And Baby Makes Three"
Simon, Rose and Sandy are at the hospital emergency room. Simon and Rose continue to argue about their wedding plans as Rose is concerned about Simon's lack of enthusiasm. All of this is happening while the EMT is wheeling Sandy to the emergency room in the background.

Martin has an interview with a baseball scouter, Tim McDonald and sees him in his coaches office. Tim offers Martin a full scholarship and a good deal on college despite his "situation" with Sandy, but Martin is reluctnant to take it as he senses Rev. Camden had something to do with it.

"Got MLK?"

Martin and Ruthie befriend a black kid named Alex who is senior and has just joined HS baseball team. Alex gets into a debate with his teacher Mrs. Porter, in Ruthie's class, over doing another report about Martin Luther King Jr. when he did one already the previous week on MLK holiday. Alex argues that he couldn't get his whole message in one day and doesn't like restricting on talking about Martin Luther King Jr. on just a holiday like Christmas.

Mrs. Porter recosiders this, and makes the class now do another report on a great African American figure. Classmates Brad and Todd are not happy about this and purprosely pick a fight with Martin and Alex later on in the locker room.

Afterwards Martin finds his car vandalized in the school parking lot with a hateful message on his car back window (i.e.*****lover). Martin refuses to move the car until the culprit cleans it themselves, despite a huge crowd growing in the parking lot and objection of the vice prinicpal and threatens to tow his car. Later on, a black tow truck driver refuses to remove the car after seeing the message.

Eric and the police show up to calm the tension between the students in the parking lot. Martin also ends up on the TV news taking about the disruption at the school and standing his ground regarding his car and friend Alex.

Eric addresses the tension in his Sunday sermon and know one fully comes forth on who vandalizes Alex's car. Alex also tells the congregation why talking about MLK a lot is important to him. Brad apologizes over his reasons on why he was upset even though he didn't vandalize his car. Martin and Alex wash the car themselves afterwards and have a car wash. The episode ends with students in Ruthie's class give out the names of important African American figures in society.

"Xmas"

The Camdens are in the Christmas spirit in this episode. In a montage with the song "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree", Eric is spending time at a retirement home and dancing with the elderly patrons. Ruthie is volunteering at the hospital and gives gifts to kid patients, even her old firend Katelyn (guest star Katelyn Salmont). Lucy is working again for Habitat for Humanity again. Annie, Sam and David are talking and spending time to Sudanese students at a Catholic church. Kevin dress up as Santa and hands out gifts at the pool hall with Savannah by her side. Kevin takes a lost dog to the kennel, but chancges his mind afterwards and gives it to a deserving family.

"Apple Pie"

It's the Christmas season. Rose is at a turning point in her relationship with Simon. Rose makes a visit to see her father Philip and discusses her relationship with Simon.

Rose tells her dad about her being embarrassed about his numerous failed marriages as well as her mothers. That is the reason why she hasn't introduced her family to Simon yet. Philip encounrages Rose to hold back on marriage with Simon and just live with him, whil Rose debates that she tried that and the Camden's hate her even more.

Simon drops by to Glen Oak to talk to Eric and have...pie. Eric is concerned that Rose and Simon are a little too clingy with each other as they always want to know where the other one is all the time. Lastly, Lucy lectures Kevin after apparnetly getting into a fight earlier.

"Turkey"

It's Thanksgiving time. The rumored news about Martin being an expectant father has finally been let out of the bag. At school, everyone thinks that Ruthie is the one who is pregnant with Martin's baby, as she was previously out of school for awhile with the flu, and everyone assuming it was morning sickness. Meredith and Martin have broken up over the unravel. Meredith gets support from her sister Kelly.

Despite the rumors Ruthie tries her best to avoid them, hoping to still have a chance with Martin if they are not true. Ruthie has also taken up a project in collecting labels in order to get a new computer for the school. She gets encouragement from her teacher Ms. Allison, who also persuades her to join the school newspaper. Although, once finding out the news about Martin and Sandy, Ruthie is crushed and has a hard time getting into the Thanksgiving spirit.

Also, Eric and Annie work harder at trying to be nicer to Rose as she's along with the family for Thanksgiving. Lastly, the Camden's celebrate Thanksgiving dinner at the Glen Oak Church where they help feed the homeless.

"Chicken Noodle Heads"


Eric gains a new perspective on Sandy (Haylie Duff) and Martin's pregnancy when he learns that his own mother was pregnant with him before she married his father. Ruthie has the flu. Eric is also not feeling too good in this episode as Annie wants to take him to the doctor as well, but Eric contest he does not have Ruthie's flu, just upset and restless from a bad day. A tired Eric tries to talk to Sandy's mom Ellen and her step-dad Rob about Sandy's pregnancy situation and what they could do to help make things better. Eric hopes it'll go better than what happened earlier with Sandy's real dad, who is a drunk. Unfortunately, both are deeply tired of Sandy and her on-going drama.

Lucy is deeply annoyed by Kevin as he councils a former "Mommy and Me" mom Sally over how to parent her little boy who's constantly crying when he's around her. Kevin is giving her this advice while Lucy and Kevin walk Savannah in the park. Lastly, a misunderstanding between Ruthie and Jack on whether they should go out is known when he tells her that Martin discouraged him from asking her out. Ruthie is shocked.

"Soup's On"

When Sandy's (Haylie Duff) father (guest star Michael McDonald) approaches Eric and Lucy with plans of helping his daughter, they are suspicious of the large sum of money he leaves with them. Meanwhile, Martin decides it's time to confront his father (guest star Costas Mandylor) with the news that he and Sandy are expecting a child. Simon, who is experiencing financial problems, goes to each family member for help. Lastly, Ruthie begins collecting soup labels for Campbell Soup's Labels for Education program to get her school's newspaper a much-needed computer.

"Helpful"

When Sandy (Haylie Duff) asks Simon to take her to the hospital for what she thinks are labor pains, she admits that she only slept with Martin to make Simon jealous. Meanwhile, Eric learns the hard way that Simon’s given Rose (Sarah Thompson) an engagement ring, and he must also decide whether or not to allow Ruthie to date a seemingly much older boy. Ruthie has a new crush on a guy that she goes to school with, Brian who is around 18 years-old and is shortstop on the school's baseball team. Ruthie encountered Brian when she was riding bikes with Sam and David earlier in the day. When they come home Sam and David try to embarrass her in front of Eric on her "new boyfriend" that Eric doesn't know about.

Lastly, Lucy is disappointed to learn that almost her entire family is aware of Martin’s situation, which she had hoped to keep private.

"The Rats of the Bag"

Matt makes a surprise visit to Glen Oak and accompanies Kevin to a children's party where he dresses up into character. Elsewhere, Lucy goes to see Sandy on a private matter that involves Martin, but lies to Kevin that she is going to visit Simon. Matt and Kevin decide it's best to follow her. Meanwhile, Eric has some suspicions of his own regarding Lucy's visit to Simon, and after spying on her, he also finds out about the pregnancy and Martin's involvement.Lastly, Ruthie is suspicious of Martin as she wonders why he doesn't keep his cell phone anymore.

OH, BABY – After Eric (Stephen Collins) and Annie (Catherine Hicks) discover that Simon (David Gallagher) and Rose (Sarah Thompson) are living together, they demand that she move out. When Simon doesn’t object as strongly as Rose would like him too, she questions his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) begins to question her abilities as an associate pastor after she has a hard time counseling a young girl who may be pregnant. Also, Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) realizes that she may have feelings for Martin (Tyler Hoechlin), and Martin continues to mishandle his situation with Sandy (Haylie Duff). A GOOD RELATIONSHIP NEEDS GOOD COMMUNICATION — When Simon (David Gallagher) and Rose (Sarah Thompson) decide to make some changes to their relationship, Eric (Stephen Collins) and Annie (Catherine Hicks) happily assume that the two are breaking up. Meanwhile, Sandy (Haylie Duff) shows up at a church social organized by Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) to confront Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) who has been avoiding her phone calls and planning his first date with Meredith (Megan Henning). Mackenzie Rosman, George Stults, Nikolas and Lorenzo Brino also star. The episode was directed by Joel Feigenbaum and written by Brenda Hampton and Jeff Olsen

A pregnant Sandy decides to move into Rose’s old apartment as she no longer wants to stay in the college dorms anymore. Rose decides it’s the perfect excuse to move into Simon’s apartment with him---which she does. Eric and his new band play their music at the church as patrons from the church come and celebrate an event. Martin plays matchmaker for Ruthie, as she has given up guys for the moment---but is willing to take Martin’s offer of helping her out in which guy she should date next.

LIFE’S BIG DECISIONS— After learning that he may be the father to Sandy’s (Haylie Duff) unborn child, Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) is left feeling very confused, while Simon (David Gallagher) can’t help but feel responsible for Martin’s dilemma because he introduced the two. Meanwhile, when Kevin (George Stults) is caught in the line of fire while on duty, he decides that it would be for the best to quit the police force and become a stay-at-home dad. This surprises Lucy (Beverley Mitchell), who is at risk of losing her own job as the Associate Pastor when church elders approach Eric (Stephen Collins) about removing her from the position. THE MILESTONE 200TH EPISODE/HAYLIE DUFF JOINS THE CAST - The Camdens find themselves in a series of difficult predicaments: Eric (Stephen Collins) tries to avoid telling his parents, Ruth (guest star Barbara Rush) and the Colonel (guest star Peter Graves), about Mary's (Jessica Biel, who does not appear in this episode) divorce, Simon (David Gallagher) is pressured by his fiancée Rose (Sarah Thompson) to move up their wedding date, Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) realizes that being Associate Pastor is a harder job than she imagined, Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) sets her sights on a senior in her highschool, and Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) learns that Sandy (Haylie Duff), a college girl he met over the summer, may be pregnant with his child.
